How we all are going to die :)
April 27, 2009 — DanI’m not saying that we are going to die. I just came across scientific video about simulation of collision the Earth with a 300 miles in diameter asteroid. It looks quite impressive. I strongly recommend everyone to watch it.

Why new shuffle doesn’t support other headphones?
April 26, 2009 — Dan Just to reminisce; the new Apple’s shuffle has a chip in the headphones, so you can’t use other headphones with it. Actually, you can, but that way you will not be able to control it at all, because all it’s controls are now located on the headphone cable.
As a result of moving control buttons to the cable we’ve got a chip on headphones. Moreover, Apple wants to certify every headphones will be made for new shuffle. In addition, they want companies to pay fee for using their technology.
